Our church sustained heavy fire damage to the sanctuary on December 31st. Thank you to the courageous firefighters who contained the blaze and saved the rest of our facility!
Most of the smoke damaged areas and classrooms have been cleaned and are back in use.
We are currently worshipping in our “Family Life Worship Center” while we await the process of rebuilding. Recovering and rebuilding a sanctuary will hopefully be completed sometime in 2014. Currently we are still waiting on Brotherhood Insurance Company to conclude their settlement. A building committee will be formed in May, and the planning process will then begin in earnest.
We want to thank so many in our community – churches, organizations, businesses and individuals for your many prayers, expressions of support & encouragement, and financial support. All donations are being kept in a our designated Fire Recovery Fund for future use as needs arise related to the recovery and rebuilding process.
